About  S. S. Maniyar Law College

KCE’s S.S.Maniyar Law College, Jalgaon is a premier academic institution of legal knowledge in the Khandesh region. In recognition of its academic excellence, nurtured about five decades that resulted in two successive NAAC cycle and had ‘A’ Grades from the NAAC. Since last 49 years, the college has academically evolved by adding Two UG & PG Courses and number post-graduate diploma courses in Law.

In the year 1970 KCE Society established this institution on the name of Trustee Late Shri. Sheth Shankarlal Rampratap Maniyar, he had earnestly desired to establish a law college and donated land to establish this law college,. At the beginning college had Three Year LL.B program. In 1985, new Five Year Law Course BSL (Integrated course) started to cater to the need of Students. Till 1992 college was affiliated to Pune University. After establishment of North Maharashtra University it is affiliated to that. In the year 1995 college got Grant in Aid. The College has permanent Affiliation from BCI and North Maharashtra University and recognition from UGC. This recognition enabled us to get financial assistance from UGC and to build up/Develop our IT infrastructure and other resources.

In 2004, on Accreditation by NAAC the college was awarded B++ and Second Cycle in the year 2011 and Awarded by “A”. It was possible due to team work and support of one and all: teachers, non-teaching staff, students, parents and our strong force of brand Ambassadors, our Alumni. When the NAAC peer team members interacted with all the above mentioned groups including Alumni, they felt a strong note of appreciation emerge spontaneously which was convincing that the college is vibrant, working towards realization of its goal of imparting quality legal education.

S.S.Maniyar Law College is doing a pioneering work in the field of legal education in Satara District and surrounding area since 1970.

The college conducts Three Year Law Course, Five Year Law Course and Diploma Courses in Labour Law, Diploma in Taxation Law, PG Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence, PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights, PG Diploma in Bio forensic & Bio-Terrorism, PG. Diploma in Cyber laws and PG. Diploma in Human Rights and Value in Education.

The college also conducts short term certificate courses in E-Banking, Insurance, Human Rights, Computer Skills and Personality Development.

Career Guidance Cell conducts coaching for All India Bar Examination, Competitive Examinations for posts in Judiciary like JMFC & CJJD and LAW CET. For all round development of students many co-curricular and extracurricular activities are conducted by the college.
